Opt out

Control how your data is used

At Quiet Signal Workshop, we want you to decide how any information associated with your visit is used. This page lets you request limits on optional data uses, withdraw earlier consent, or ask us to review or delete information where appropriate.

What does “opt out” mean here?

On this site, opting out means you can ask us to restrict how your data is used beyond what is strictly necessary to operate and secure the website.

You may, for example, choose to:

  • avoid non-essential tracking for analytics or performance measurement;
  • object to the use of certain cookies or similar technologies that are not required for basic functionality;
  • stop receiving any direct marketing or follow-up emails that rely on your consent; or
  • request that we review and, where appropriate, delete information connected to a previous enquiry.

You will still be able to browse Quiet Signal Workshop. However, some features may be less tailored or we may have reduced visibility into how the site is used.

Important notes before you submit a request

  • Some technical data (for example, basic logs used to keep the site secure and functioning) may still be processed as they are necessary for the website to operate.
  • Opting out is mainly about future processing. If you also want existing information to be deleted, please state that clearly in your message.
  • We may need to contact you to confirm details or verify your identity before we can action your request.

Submit an opt-out request

Use the form below to tell us how you would like us to limit or stop the use of your data. The more specific you are, the easier it is for us to respond accurately.

Describe what you want to change (e.g. “no analytics tracking”, “no marketing emails”, “delete my previous contact messages”).

This form does not automatically change cookies in your browser. You can also adjust cookie and tracking preferences directly through your browser or device settings.

After you contact us

Once we receive your request, we will review it and respond within a reasonable timeframe and in line with applicable data protection laws. In some cases, we may ask for additional information to confirm your identity or clarify what you want us to do.

If we are unable to fulfil all aspects of your request (for example, where certain data must be retained for legal or security reasons), we will explain this as clearly as we can.

Contacting us directly

If you prefer not to use the form, you can email us with your opt-out preferences at:

Quiet Signal Workshop
Email: support@quietsinalworkshop.com

Please include enough detail for us to understand your request (for example, the email address you used previously and the type of processing you want to stop).
